Obituary

Erica Grace Siegel, age 24, passed away on February 16, 2025. Erica was born on May 15, 2000, in Columbus, to William Scott Siegel and Charmin Wickline. She graduated from Northridge High School in 2019, and studied for two years at The Ohio State University. She loved and excelled at her job as a merchandiser and manager at Cedar & Thread in Granville.

Erica was that gorgeous, exuberant girl with the big smile and the contagious laugh, who we all were drawn to and who everyone instantly adored. She was the light and energy of every room she entered; captivating us with her playfulness and enthusiasm for life. Erica was the most genuinely kind and caring person many of us had ever met; she made every person she touched feel seen, heard and valuable. Erica was always the first to help out or speak up. With her momma's looks and taking after her daddy, she freely offered her strength and was generous with her time and love. She was resilient and ambitious, and her competitive nature compelled us off of the sidelines and into what are some of the most hilarious and cherished memories we've ever made. Erica was an incredible artist, an inspiring athlete, and a devoted puppy moma. We are all better people because of Erica and our hearts are full of gratitude to have known and enjoyed her.

She is survived by her mother, Charmin (Chad) Wickline; sisters, Isabel (Michael) Young, Sailor (James Ellison IV) Wickline; nephews, James, Joshua, Asher Young; grandparents, Jackie (Bill) Siegel, Linda Smith, Georgetta Horvath; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, W. Scott Siegel and grandfathers, Robert G. Smith and Danny Wickline.

The family will receive all who wish to honor Erica on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 2–4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home. Her Memorial Service will be held on March 1, 2025, at 11 am.

The family would receive flowers but in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Northridge Athletic Boosters, 6066 Johnstown Utica Road, Johnstown, Ohio 43031.
