Ernest E. Wilcox, 84 of Heath passed away on January 26, 2025 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 14, 1940 in Columbus, OH to the late Lamberton and Edna Ida (Rhodeback) Wilcox.

Ernie was a member of the Heath Church of Christ. He retired from Columbia Gas. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, camping and eating out.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Phyllis K. (Nethers) Wilcox; sister, Carolyn Weekly; brother-in-law, Stan Norris; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, William Weekly and sister-in-law, Shirley Norris.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the Heath Church of Christ, 1331 Chapel Way, Heath. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial at Eden Cemetery will be held at a later date.
