Evelyn D. Arnold, 87 of Heath, died peacefully at home on March 6, 2025. She was born July 26, 1937, in Battle Creek, MI, the daughter of Burdge and Charlotte Ashton.

Evelyn, known as "Noni" to her grand- and great-grandchildren, was the matriarch of a large family. She lived a fruitful life, working as a teacher's aide, legal secretary, and owner/operator of the Cinnamon House in Newark. She volunteered at Second Chance Humane Society, and visited nursing homes with her therapy dog, Kenzie the Wonder Corgi. Never a big sports fan, Evelyn did, however, love watching the Detroit Red Wings.

Evelyn is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bill, three sons, Michael, Kraig (Christine), and Todd (Melanie) Phillips, three grandchildren, Brooke (Brad) Farnsworth, Kassie (Spencer) Scott, and Bobby (Rachel) Phillips. Great grandchildren are Bristol, Brady, Bryce, Hali, Beckham, Sage Evelyn, Callan, Finley, and Nora. Evelyn was also much loved by faithful Corgis, Kenzie and Gordie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Joe Phillips, sister, Carel LeCureux, and dear friend, Sally Addis.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Licking County Humane Society, 825 Thornwood Rd SE. Heath, OH.

Visitation will be held from 12-1pm Thursday, March 13, 2025, followed by a 1pm memorial service at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N 21st. St. Newark, Ohio 34055.
