Frank Daniel Lewis, 83, of Newark, died Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. He was born June 18, 1941 in Newark to the late Ray and Wilma (Braddock) Lewis.

Frank retired from Owens Corning where he worked for 34 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #554 and Newark Elks Lodge #391. He enjoyed playing cards, taking care of his yard and cheering for the Buckeyes and Reds.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Cynthia; children, Kevin (Carol) Lewis and Kimberly Lewis; grandchildren, Marielle, Micaela and Amelia Lewis and Lauren McClellen; brother, Roger (Lisa) Lewis; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ed and Jim Lewis; and sister, Wilma "Peekee" Lewis.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Frank to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 29, 2024 from 11-1 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark where the funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Wilson Cemetery.

The family would like for anyone in attendance for services to wear their Ohio State gear and dress comfortably.
