Frank Ernest Lorch, III

A graveside service for Frank Ernest Lorch, III, 90, of Hebron, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Poplar Forks Cemetery, 9967 Poplar Forks Rd. Se, Mt. Perry, OH 43760 with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Licking County Veterans Alliance. Following the graveside service there will be a Celebration of Life held at Harbor Hill's Country Club, 225 Freeman Dr., Hebron, OH 43025.

Frank passed away surrounded by his family July 22, 2025, at his residence. He was born September 1, 1934, in New Albany, IN, to the late Frank Ernest Lorch, Jr. and Lucille (Bir) Lorch.

Frank was a United States Army Veteran. He owned and operated Lorch Oil Company and he also had a Burger King franchise for 34 years. He was a member of Moose Lodge 2434 and a lifetime member of AMVETS Post 51. He loved swimming, scuba diving, snow skiing, riding his Harley, taking his boat on Buckeye Lake, spending time in Hilton Head, and feeding his squirrels.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sheila J. (Smith) Lorch, whom he married on April 29, 1995; children, Dr. Frank E. Lorch, IV (Rachel), Gwendolen "Wendy" Lorch, Eric (Susan) Lorch, and Emily (Thomas) McEvilly; stepchildren, Angela (Andrew) Harris and Nathan Mack; grandchildren, Mackinzie, Caitlin, Zachery, Hannah, and Tatum Lorch, and Maisie, Marley, Fiona, and Callan McEvilly, and his loving sister, Elizabeth "Cissy" Ann Lorch of Jacksonville, FL.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, June (Lorch) Wright.
