Fred Steven Ikehorn

A Celebration of Life for Fred Steven Ikehorn, 82, of Newark, will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Newark Moose Lodge #499, 235 W. National Dr., Newark, OH 43055.

Fred passed away October 4, 2025, at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born May 25, 1943, in Zanesville, OH, to the late Carl and Esther (Myers) Ikehorn.

Fred was a dedicated oil field worker and proud self-employed professional. He was known for his strong work ethic, adventurous spirit, and unwavering devotion to his family. He loved to travel and explore new places, always bringing joy and laughter wherever he went. Above all, Fred was the best husband, dad, and brother anyone could ask for. He was a longtime member of the Newark Moose #499, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Newark Elks Lodge #391, where he cherished the friendships and camaraderie he found among his fellow members. Fred's legacy of hard work, love, and loyalty will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra "Katie" Kay (Lawrence) Ikehorn; sons, Paul (Sunny Weaver) Ikehorn and Justin Ikehorn, and sister, Jeannette Scott.
