G Ronald Bishop, age 82, of Newark, passed away on September 6, 2024. Ronald was born on June 24, 1942, to the late George Washington and Catherine Jane (Montgomery) Bishop, in Columbus, Ohio.

He enjoyed hunting, sports, coaching baseball games and being an umpire.  Most of all Ronald loved spending time with his family.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Myrna Sue; daughters, Ronda Bishop, Laurine (Kevin) Anderson; grandchildren, Merissa, Scott, and Matthew Anderson; and sister, Nancy (Howard) Tharp.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Ken Allen Bishop; and in-laws, Rev. Lawrence (Arline) Burden.

There will be a private service at a later date.
