Georgianna D. Haynes

A funeral service for Georgianna D. Haynes, 92, of Newark, OH, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2026, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Georgianna passed away September 15, 2026, at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born February 15, 1934, in Newark, OH, to the late James and Lena (Bonnell) Riffle.

Georgianna was a fun-loving, hard-working woman who was a devoted mother and cherished her family dearly. She especially loved Christmas, which was her favorite holiday, and enjoyed making special memories with her loved ones. Georgianna loved having company and looked forward to family get-togethers where everyone could gather and spend time together. She was a woman who was never afraid to speak her mind and would certainly let you know if she thought you were wrong. Her strong personality and honest nature were part of what made her so special. Georgianna had a deep love for all animals and found joy in their companionship.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Lightle, Michael Crozier, Penny (Jan) Lybarger, Jeffrey Crozier, Dennis Crozier, and Anita Wolfe; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Haynes; sons, Bernie, Ricky, and Patrick; siblings, Jim, George, Ike, Evelyn, Louise, and two sets of twins, and grandchildren, Amber and Michael V.
