Geraldine Louisa Whitehouse

Geraldine Louisa Whitehouse, age 82, of Heath, passed away on May 13, 2026, at her residence. Geraldine was born on December 16, 1943, in Newark, Ohio to the late Albert E. and Edith R. (Thompson) Smith.

She was a 40-year member of the Grange; a member of Heath Christian Union Church and Second Baptist Church; and was actively involved in the Girl Scouts, 4-H Club, and the Sharon Valley Women’s Club. She also served as a poll worker for the Licking County Board of Elections.

She is survived by her children, Katherine (Carl) Brumage, Duane (Patty) Brumage, Jeffrey (Ronda) Whitehouse, Christopher Whitehouse, Valerie (John) Bailey, Vickie McDaniel; stepdaughter, Sue Searls; grandchildren, Carla, Craig, Bradley, Alica, Lauren, Kayla, Mason, Madeline, Gabriel, Hanna, Levi; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (Thelma) Smith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Forest Allen Whitehouse; siblings, Shirley Sullivan, Edward Smith, and Revella Brumage; son-in-law, Scott McDaniel.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 1 – 3 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, where her service will be held on Monday, at 12 PM, with Pastor Bob Cassady officiating. Burial will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery.
