Glenna Lambert

Glenna (Glover) Lambert, age 93, of Newark, passed away on October 15, 2026, at Alter Care Center Newark North. Glenna was born on March 26, 1933, in Purity, Ohio to the late Venza and Elsie (Cliver) Glover.

She married Harper Lambert on September 3, 1954, and they spent most of their married life living along Painter Run Road. She was a member of Long Run United Methodist Church and was a gifted pianist who shared her love of music with those around her.

Glenna is survived by her children, Linda (Rick), Lori (Charlie) and Jeanette; grandchildren, Nathan (Amanda), Shawn (Jamie), Aaron (Shannon), Brandon (Jessica), Jennifer, Jamie, Travis (Billy), Cierra (Tristin), Savanna (Logan), Nathan (Mea), Nevaeh, Celestial, Joycelyn, Emmalyne; great grandchildren, Maison (Courtney), Avery (Rylie), Tanner, Trevor (Leeann), Morgan, Elden, Hannah, Bree and Sam; great-great grandchildren, Sawyer, Maverick and Bishop; and dear friend, Doris; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harper Lambert; brother, Louis and his wife, Marilee Glover who was like a sister to her and sister, Esther (Charles) Bodle; and special cousin, Emma Jean.

The family will receive friends on October 22, 2026, from 11 – 1 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral home, where her service will immediately follow at 1 pm with Pastor Donny Owens officiating. The burial will take place in Eden Cemetery.
