Helen L. Halblaub, age 88, of Newark, passed away on March 20, 2026, at the Selma Markowitz Impatient Care Center with her family by her side. Helen was born on December 28, 1937, in Hanover, Ohio to the late Clyde and Ruth (Fulton) Tucker.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who found her greatest joy in caring for her family. She truly enjoyed life's simple moments, especially cooking for family gatherings and bringing everyone together around the table. When her children were young, she faithfully supported them by attending their school events and sporting activities, always their biggest cheerleader. Helen was an avid gardener who loved freezing and caning, taking pride in preserving food to share with her loved ones. Her generous spirit extended to her church community, where she enjoyed cooking for church camp and singing in the choir. She loved spending her time reading, traveling, and making special memories on trips to Pigeon Forge and Arizona. She was also a devoted fan of the Licking Valley Panthers football team. Over the years, she has connected with many through her work selling Tupperware and Avon. Helen will be remembered for her warmth, dedication to her family, and the love she gave so freely to all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles F. Halblaub; children, Ricky "Rick" (Nannette G.) Halblaub, Roberta "Robin" Becker, Rodney "Rod" (Tiffiny) Halblaub, Rene L. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 11am - 12pm at the Rocky Fork Church of Christ, where her service will immediately follow at 12pm with Minister Moses Hamilton officiating. The Burial will take place at Rocky Fork Cemetery.
