Isabelle L. Flanagan

A visitation for Isabelle L. Flanagan, 95, of Newark, OH, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

Isabelle passed away August 12, 2024, at Altercare North. She was born March 25, 1929, in Newark, OH, to the late Samuel Maurice and Margaret (Clary) Cooperrider.

Isabelle was a member of the Apostolic Temple in Hanover. She was very active in the Silver Club at the Licking County Again Program. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, reading, bingo, and she also wrote a song.

She is survived by her sons, Richard Flanagan, Robert (Diana) Flanagan, Ronald (Lori) Flanagan, Roger Flanagan, and Roy (Kathy) Flanagan; sister, Nancy (Phil) Kreager; sister-in-law, Nora Welch; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Lee Flanagan; sister, Jackie Esworthy; grandson, Chrisopher Day, and stepbrothers, Glen, Ralph, and Jim Willey.

In lieu of flowers, contributions will be made to the Apostolic Temple in Hanover.
