Jack D. Whitlatch

A Celebration of Life open house for Jack D. Whitlatch, 88, of Pataskala, OH, will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the home of the Whitlatch's, 119 Penrod Ave. Pataskala, OH 43062.

Jack passed away July 12, 2025, at his residence. He was born January 4, 1937, in Nelsonville, OH, to the late Basil G. and Etta Mae (Hurd) Whitlatch.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carole L. (Cox) Whitlatch; children, Scott (Debbie) Whitlatch, Casey (Patty) Whitlatch, Nancy (Nathan) Moore, and Shonda (Jay) Gutheil; 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Jack was a United States Navy veteran, and he retired from The Timken Company. Jack was a man who touched the lives of many. He enjoyed coaching his son's sports when they were young. He was a fierce fisherman, a master electrician (as well as a 'jack' of all trades), an avid people and bird watcher, and always lent a helping hand when asked. He was proud of all his grands and great-grands. While we will forever miss him, we find comfort knowing that his love and lessons will remain with us.
