James H. McKee, age 74, of Newark, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on August 10, 2025. James was born on August 4, 1951, in Newark, to the late Hugh and Eunice Mae (Hoadley) McKee.

James was a loyal and faithful individual to everyone he knew. A man of few words, he always made sure his family was provided for, especially his cherished children. James dedicated his time to being present and involved in all athletics, extracurricular activities, and passions.

He is survived by his wife, Paula McKee; his children, Shelly Hill, Chad and Jamie McKee, Larry and Sarah Williams, Harmony Williams, and Jacob Williams; his grandchildren, Skylee, Emma, Lily, and Nathan; and his brother, Larry and Linda McKee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie McKee.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home. The service will immediately follow at 7:00 PM, with Pastor Rob Hartman officiating.
