James Edward Robinson, 57 of Newark passed away on February 6, 2026, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. He was born on November 7, 1968, in Newark, OH to Sue (Touvell) Young and the late Charles Edward Robinson.

James enjoyed riding his bike and playing pool. He loved to build and fix things that were broken and give them to kids once fixed. He also enjoyed helping out the homeless community.

In addition to his mother, Sue (Mike) Young, he is survived by his children, Jami Robinson, Patrick (Krystal) Milhoan, James Robinson II and Savannah Robinson; grandchildren, Alice Norris, Kurt, Finn and Addie Milhoan; siblings, Lori (Redd), Jason Robinson, Jack (Vanessa) Edgerley and Bobbi Sue (Jason) Kindred; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his step-mother, Beth; grandparents, Josephine and Ken Robinson and Hazel Touvell; and aunts, Loretta Hess and Bev McPherson.

The family will receive friends from 2-4pm on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark. Memorial service will be held at 4pm with Pastor Wally McLaughlin officiating.
