Jamie E. Ables, age 51, of Heath passed away on January 20, 2026, at Licking Memorial Hospital. Jamie was born on October 4, 1974, to Kathy E. Shepherd.

He was Mr. Fix it and would do anything for anyone. Jamie enjoyed making moonshine, shooting guns and loved all his cats.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelsey Ables; mother, Kathy E. Shepherd; siblings, Kandra (Jon) Bullman, Tracy (Sydney) Shepherd, Tamara (Shanna) Miller, Raine Shepherd; close friends, Eli Andrews, Tadd and Troy Fogle; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces  and nephews.

Jamie is preceded in death by his stepfather, Alan Shepherd.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 4 – 6 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home. His service will immediately follow at 6 PM with Pastor Dan Smith officiating.
