Jane E. Richards, age 78, of Newark, passed away on February 19, 2025. Jane was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, on June 6, 1946, to the late Francis Ray and Betty Louise (Edwards) Milum.

She is survived by her loving husband, David L.Richards; children, Rob (Shelly) Vermillion, Gregory (Catherine) Vermillion, Brian (Sandy) McQuillen, Michelle Richards and Eric Richards; 5 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Lou (Dave) Gayhart and Twila Walpole.

There will be no services held at this time.
