Janet E. Conn, 87, of Nashport, died Saturday, February 1, 2025 at her home. She was born October 23, 1937 to the late Paul Donald Robinson and Florence Almira White at Wehrle Farm in Hebron, OH.
Janet was a graduate of Newark High School class of 1956 and was a member of National Honor Society and a cheerleader. She married Hubert G. Conn Jr. of Logan, West Virginia on November 2, 1957. She was an avid knitter and liked to sew with her sister, Marjean and sister-in-law, Diane Robinson. She babysat numerous neighborhood children through the years. The love of her life was her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Janet enjoyed gardening, country music and camping with Jerry and Diane.
She is survived by her children, Mark (Betsy) Conn of Charlotte, NC, Jay (Donna) Conn of Nashport and Teresa (Tom) Stevens of King's Mountains, NC; sister, Marjean Thompson of Newark, OH; grandchildren, Adam (Linzie) Conn of Frazeysburg, Ashley "Ali" (Rezi Bahar) Conn of Mooresville, NC, Danielle (Tyler) Miskell of Nashport, OH, Brandon (Bridget) Conn of Hanover, OH, Dylan Conn of Cramerton, NC, Brent (Katelynn) Stevens of King's Mountain, NC, Breanna (Colton) Wade of King's Mountain, NC Logan (Carly) Stevens of King's Mountain, NC, Cameron Stevens of Charlotte, NC, Emily (Matt) Beatty of Sherrils Ford, NC and Rob (Kristen) Patton of Pisgah Forest, NC; and great grandchildren, Leah and Harper Miskell, Madden Magers, Brooks and Marlee Conn, Colby, Carter and Piper Conn, Albert, Issac and Isabell Stevens, Hudson and Noah Steven, Makinley Stevens, Hadley and Hannah Patton, Wade, Waylon and Crew Beatty and Easton, Cooper and Emerson Wade.
In addition to her parents and husband of 57 years, Hubert, who passed away in 2015, she was preceded in death by brothers, Carl Robinson and Dwight "Jerry" Robinson; sisters, Thelma Wright, Evelyn Shepherd, Marjorie Green and Donna Sunderland.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 7, 2025 from 4-6 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home 985 N. 21st St., Newark. The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Corbin Huffman officiating. Burial will follow the service at Newark Memorial Gardens.
