Janet Ann Rutter, 82, of Newark, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born November 23, 1941 in Lancaster,Oh to the late Ora Dell (Hutchison) Wolf-Jackson.

Janet retired from Boeing in Heath, Oh where she worked as an electronics technician. She enjoyed playing Solitaire, dancing, and loved vacations to the beach. She was a member of the Eagles and was involved in many activities. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family. She truly loved her family.

Janet is survived by her two sons, Mack (Lisa) Fetherolf Jr. and Bill (Erin) Rutter; grandchildren, Rance (Jamie) Fetherolf, Sheila (Tim) Elliott, Leah (Dustin) Clark, Seth (fiancé Rhianna Hunt) Rutter and Ely Rutter; and six great grandchildren with one on the way.

In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by brother, Ronnie; and sister, Sandy.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Janet to the Wounded Warriors Project and/ or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 4-6 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, where the funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm.
