Janis Muriel Price, 78, of Frazeysburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday, October 10, 2025 at the Morrison House in Zanesville. She was born July 18, 1947 in Columbus to the late Alfred Thomas and Delma Roberta (Jeunesse) Rhoades.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy Price; son, Michael Peck; daughter, Kimberly (John) Harrison; step sons, Adam (Crystal) Price and Aaron (Kate) Price; brothers and sisters, Linda (Dennis) Kausek, Kathy Parkhurst, Jon (Tawnya) Rhoades and Claris (Terry) VanDyne; sisters-in-law, Cathy Domokos and Candy (Mark) Wygle; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and countless friends and extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Michael Thomas Rhoades; sister, Margaret Jane Rhoades Brofford; and brothers-in-law, JR Brofford, Walt Parkhurst and James "Smokey" Domokos.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Janis to the Morrison House, 713 Forest Ave., Zanesville, OH 43701.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 13, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark where the funeral service will be Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 11:00 am with Pastor Donny Rowland officiating. Burial will follow the service at Irville Cemetery.
