Janis A. Snyder, 89 of Newark passed away on July 3, 2024 at her residence. She was born on March 13, 1935 in Lancaster, OH to the late Carl and Francis (Whitford) Peach.

Janis retired from LAPP after 25 years. She enjoyed crafts and crocheting.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Dan) Barnhart, Cathie (Milton) Willis, Debbie Mossman, Shelly Snyder and Mary (Brian) Wills; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Brian (Amy) Peach; and 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her significant other, Al Wright; son-in-law, Jerry Mossman; and brother, Carl William Peach.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 7, 2024 from 2-5pm at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark.
