Jeffrey E. Roberts

A funeral service for Jeffrey E. Roberts, 70, of Heath, OH, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Pastor Wes Humble officiating. Burial will follow at Hanover Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Jeff passed away January 10, 2026, at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Care Center. He was born November 22, 1955, in Newark, OH, to Lenna L. (Gillespie) Roberts and the late Thomas J. Roberts.

Jeff was a self-employed carpenter who took great pride in his work and craftsmanship. He was passionate about cooking and loved exploring new places through travel, often riding his motorcycle all over the country. Jeff had a deep appreciation for photography, music, and history, and he especially enjoyed watching the History Channel and classic cowboy shows.

A true people person, Jeff cherished spending time with his many friends and was known for his kind and considerate nature. During times of illness, he never complained and showed genuine compassion toward the nurses who cared for him, earning a reputation as one of their best patients.

Most importantly, Jeff accepted Jesus and found peace in his faith. He will be remembered for his strength, kindness, adventurous spirit, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Jamison (Deb) Roberts and Courtney (Thomas) Bayerl; sister, Kimberly (Michael) Darkes; 6 grandchildren; 3 nephews, and special friend, Robin Snyder and her family.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Roberts, and brother, Thomas Roberts.
