Jeffrey Steven “Wolfie” Wolfe, 75, of Newark, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2026. He was born August 6, 1950 to the late William and Edith (Arbaugh) Wolfe in Newark, OH.

Jeff graduated from Newark High School in 1970 and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1970 -1972 where he received the National Defense Medal and Vietnam Service Medal. He was employed (and retired from) the Ohio Department of Transportation where he spent most of his working life, starting as a mechanic.

Jeff loved cruising in his restored 1941 Ford pickup as well as hot rods, riding his motorcycle in the mountains of Tennessee where he rode the Tail of the Dragon and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Brian Justin Wolfe; brother, Jackie Wolfe; and sister, Dianna Nelson.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cheryl (Kincaid) Wolfe; daughter, Adrienne Lanning; brothers; Jerry (Nancy) Wolfe, Jody Wolfe and Jay (Patty) Wolfe; grandchildren, Zachary Cook, Stacia (Evan) Pascarella; Katie (Minh) Le, Ethan Baker Wolfe; soon to be born, great granddaughter, Seraphine Le; mother-in-law, Clare Gatten; and sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
