Jennifer Marie Crane-Bennington

A Celebration of Life service for Jennifer Marie Crane- Bennington, 52, of Walhonding, OH, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with pastor Wes Humble officiating. Family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Jennifer peacefully passed away surrounded by her family February 10, 2025, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Hospital. She was born October 4, 1972, in Newark, OH, to Linda (Daniels) Crane-Mitchell, and the late Daniel Allen Crane.

Jennifer was a 1991 graduate of Licking Valley High School where she remarkably earned All American Basketball player. She attended Heidelberg College on an athletic scholarship. She enjoyed the beach, outdoors, gardening, and she cherished her loving family.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Daniel (Sophea) Bennington, mother, Linda (Larry) Crane-Mitchell; grandchildren, Donavan and Lachelle Bennington; sisters, Jacque, Cindy, and Candy Crane, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Bennington.
