Jerry Dale Lawson, age 77, of Heath, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025, at the OSU Wexner Medical Center. He was born in King City, CA on May 15, 1948, to the late Glen and Mattie Lee (Widener) Lawson.

Jerry was a life-long Yankee's fan who loved meeting and talking to people, playing table and computer games, and traveling.

He is survived by his close family, Christopher (Jaime) Lawson and granddaughters, Savannah and Peyton, who were the apple of his eye; grandsons, Joshua Murphy and Ryan Martin; great-grandchildren, Aden Murphy and Gracie Martin; siblings, Gary Lawson and Karen (Robert) Conger; nieces and nephew, Kasey (Jeremy) Gooch, Kelly (Paul) Morrow, and Zack Conger; 7 great-nieces and nephews; life-long best friend, Richard Reeser and his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 18 years, Joan (Siegfried) Lawson and her daughter, Beverly Vantu.

A memorial service celebrating Jerry's life will be held at a later date.
