Jerry Lee Priest, age 80, of Newark, passed away on October 16, 2025. Jerry was born on March 26, 1945, in Newark to the late Lawrence and Lena (Roberts) Priest.
He retired from Tectum after 50 years of service. Jerry loved tractors, westerns, old country music and sports, especially the Cleveland Browns.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 31 years, Julia Mae; children, Cassy (Ashley), Amy (Jackie), Jamie (Jerry), Allan (Tara); 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Ronnie (Shirley), Linda (Bob), Toddy (Sonny), and Patty Ann; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Dale, Lester Kenneth, Arlene, Carol, Bill and Richard.
The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 4 -7 pm, at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home. There will be an hour of calling from 12 - 1 pm on Thursday prior to the service at 1 with Pastor Nahum Masimer, officiating.  Burial will take place in Newark Memorial Gardens.
