Jo Ann Lucille Occhiuzzi, 80 of Jacksontown, OH passed away on January 25, 2026 at Altercare Newark North. She was born on April 26, 1945 in Newark, OH to the late Durwood "Bob" and Hazel Louise (Elliot) Parr.
Jo Ann was a member of the Newark Moose and AMVETS. She loved to dance.
She is survived by her children, Tami Lee (Brian) Samsal, Taisha Dawn Occhiuzzi and Paul Robert (Kyla) Occhiuzzi; grandchildren, LaShawna (Beau) Workman, Craig Samsal and Annie Samsal; niece, Lalena Parr; and nephew, Christopher Parr.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Occhiuzzi; son, Rhett Occhiuzzi; grandson, Levi Guinta; and brother, John Robert Parr.
