Joan Rosalie Holler

A funeral service for Joan Rosalie Holler, 87, of Newark, OH, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2025, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Pastor Wes Humble officiating.  Family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home, 985 N. 21ST St. Newark. A private burial will be held at Lutheran Cemetery.

Joan passed away November 30, 2025, at Altercare North. She was born November 30, 1938, in Newark, OH, to the late Ernest Wyckoff and Leatha (Rodgers) Dieffenbach.

Joan cherished the time she spent with her friends at Holiday Park, North Port, Florida. She was a true people person with strong and steady faith. She never met a stranger and formed friendships with ease wherever life took her. She found joy in playing cards, traveling, and sharing warm companionship with those around her. Her welcoming spirit and love for others will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Doug (Lisa) Holler and Scott (Paula) Holler; grandchildren, Angela (Charles) McClair, Amber Kennison, and Rebekah Holler; great-grandchildren, Brendan, William, Laniyah, Courtney, Mason, and Cameron; sister-in-law, Patricia Wyckoff; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; adopted daughter, Donna McNally, and dear friend, Cindy Street.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester I. Holler, Jr.; daughters, Sandra Miller and Sherry Wetherilt, and siblings, Robert, Ronald, Dorothy, and Ernest.
