John C. DeLancey, 85 of St. Louisville passed away on August 9, 2026 at his residence. He was born on August 14, 1940 in Newark, OH to the late James Lee and Daisy Mae (Hoyt) DeLancey.

John worked at Roper then went to Owens Corning where he retired. He enjoyed mowing grass, riding his four wheeler, watching tv and going to the casino.

He is survived by his children, Arletta Waites, Annette Baker and Aaron DeLancey; grandchildren, Amy Patch, Alisha Patch and Bryan Waites; great-grandson, Levi Warner; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Nancy Y. (Martin) DeLancey; son-in-law, James Waites; brothers, Herbert, Charles, James and Leslie DeLancey; and sisters, Virginia DeLancey and Alfreda Grady.
