John Cono Ricciardo, passed away peacefully in his home on July 23, 2026. He was born January 7, 1938 to Sarah and John Armand Ricciardo.

John graduated from Granville High School in 1955, where his classmates voted him “life of the party” as he surely was. After graduation he enlisted in the Air Force for 4 years, where he learned the electrical trade. A point of pride for John and his family is his strong work ethic, having held his sole job for 39 years at Ohio Power/ AEP.

John married Sue Drumm on June 3, 1962, both passing within weeks of their 64th wedding anniversary.

John is survived by one brother, Jim (Patty); one sister, Judy (Roger); two children, Cami (Jeff) and John David; six grandchildren, Nichole, John Eric, Anthony, Wyatt, Max and Sarah Grace; and six great grandchildren, Nathan, Dominic, Vincenzo, Jameson, Enzo and Luciano.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
