John Taylor Skulas, age 51, of Blacklick, Ohio, passed away at his home Sunday, January 7, 2024. He was born Ho Chi Minh City, (Saigon) Vietnam on July 4, 1972, to Anthony J. Skulas and Kim Khao-Thi Lindsay.

John moved to Central Ohio in 1979, where he would become a supervisor at Bath & Body Works, he worked very hard to make a better life for himself. He loved food, collecting vinyl records, and watching The Walking Dead. One of the quotes he lived by was "Be kind, you have no idea what hell people are going through in their life. It's simple and easy!"

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons, Sam (Stephanie) Skulas and Anthony T. Skulas; siblings, John A. (Crystal) Skulas and Julie (Jeff) Neumer.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Friday, January 19, and from 11 am- 12 pm Saturday, January 20, 2024, followed by a 12 pm funeral service at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st, St. Newark, Ohio 43055.
