John Alan Tipton

John Alan Tipton, 67, of Newark, OH, passed away November 28, 2025, at Grant Medical Center. He was born April 22, 1958, in Columbus, OH, to the late Leonard J. and Frances O. (Worley) Tipton.

John was a 1976 graduate of Newark High School and the Licking County Joint Vocational School. He retired from Holophane after 47 years of dedicated service. John was an avid NASCAR fan and will be remembered for his enthusiasm and love for the sport.

He is survived by his brother, Randy Tipton; aunt, Mary Jane Ford, and several cousins.

A private internment will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville, OH.
