Joyce Marie Knotts-Elliott, 69, of Newark, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Embassy of Newark. She was born September 21, 1955 in Newark to the late David and Margaret (Moore) Knotts.

Joyce loved to cook and spend time with her family. She enjoyed watching horror movies and scaring her loved ones. She was fond of listening to Patsy Cline, singing, dancing and antique shopping.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Tolley; son, David Elliott; grandchildren, Caleb and Aiden Richards; brother, John Knotts; sister, Jani Knotts; nieces and nephews, Josh Carver, Amanda Green, Hayley (Eric) East, Howie Smith, Annie Knotts, Brooke Knotts, Jacob Johnson, and Heather and Hannah Knotts; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Knotts.

Memorial contributions may be made to Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 1-3 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N, 21st St., Newark where a memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm.
