Joyce P. Miller, 91, of Newark passed away on January 14, 2024 at her son and daughter-in-law's residence. She was born on November 4, 1932 in Bainbridge, PA to the late Walter Jacks and Estella (Smith) Prescott.

Joyce graduated from East Donegal High School and Central Pennsylvania Business School. She was employed at the Elizabethtown Trust Company. She married Glenn R. Miller on August 24, 1957 at Bainbridge Church of God. She was a member of Heath Church of Christ and former member of First Baptist Church of Newark and Discovery Church. She loved teaching children about Jesus in Sunday school, family and friends, crossword puzzles, playing the piano, sewing, pressed flowers and birds.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Daryl) Miller, Jeanne (Ty) Tribble, Thomas (Melissa) Miller, Krista (Timothy) Farris and Rebecca (Thomas) Lees; grandchildren, William (April) Reid, Angela Miller, Coltan Webb, Brice Lees, Alyssa Lees and Morah Miller; great-grandchildren, Madison Reid, Morgan Reid, Elliana Reid, Breyleigh Reid, Georgia Reid, Nolan Davis and Harley Gleason; sister, Nancy Kauffman; brother-in-law, Jim Kuntzelman; and sister-in-law, Jean Prescott.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn R. Miller; granddaughter, Erin Brooke Hager; siblings, Dorothy Kuntzelman, Roy Prescott and Richard Prescott.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark with Pastor David Linn officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
