Obituary

Judith K. Smith, age 75, of Newark, passed away with her family by her side on January 26, 2025. Judith was born on February 14, 1949, in Zanesville, to the late Donald and Gloria Elaine (Krouskup) Baldwin.

She was a graduate of TriValley High School and went on to COTC to become an RN. Judith was a member of GWRRA, the Nationwide Motorcycle Association. She enjoyed traveling and visited 49 states. Her and Dan loved going to Florida to be snowbirds for 20 years. Judith loved to watch birds and butterflies. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and watching her grandkids grow up.

Judith is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Daniel Dean Smith; children, Heidi Smith, Heather (Jeffery) Carr, Heath (Erin) Smith; grandchildren, Colt, Cameron (Amanda), Yale (Lindsay), Camille (Justin), Fiona (Colton), Hunter, Hailey (Alex), Jordan (Alyssa); 5 great grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, Ronnie Baldwin, Sandy Hittle, Debbie Henderhan, Vicky Metcalf,and Becky Shaffer.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Darla Miller.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 4 - 7 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home. The service will be held on Friday at 11 AM with Pastor Chuck Horsely officiating. The burial will take place in Hanover Cemetery immediately following.
