Judy Kay Cress, age 79, of Newark, passed away on November 11, 2024, at Arlington Care Center. Judy was born on March 3, 1945, to the late Robert Patton Herron Jr. and Nina (Delp) Herron, in Imboden, VA.

She was an avid Elvis fan, and enjoyed cheering on The OSU Buckeyes, Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Yankees.

Judy is survived by her son, Robert L. Cress; grandchildren, Cody Alan, Robert Anthony, Jesse Garron Cress; siblings, Linda Elaine Durham, Joe Herron, Patricia Johnson, Barbara Back, Shirley Herron, Della Mullins, Michael Herron, Ricky Marcum, Deborah Mullins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Cress; siblings, Thomas Herron, Robert Allen Herron, Louise Dorton, James Patton Herron.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 4 - 6 PM at the Brucker Kishler Funeral Home, where her service will follow at 6 PM with Pastor Corey Campbell officiating.
