Judy Kay Humbert, 79 of Newark passed away on January 30, 2025 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 17, 1945 in Newark, OH to the late William Harrison and Mamie Catherine (Bradley) Reed.

Judy retired from the Licking County Municipal Court as a small claims administrator. Her and her dog, Heidi, were youth directors at Eastland Heights Church for many years. She enjoyed bass fishing with her husband, crocheting, cooking, baking and playing games with the grandkids. Most of all she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Wilson and Melissa Foreman; grandchildren, Matthew (Ashley) Wilson and Amber Curliss; great-grandchildren, Keaton, Ayleah, Kohen, Everly and Graham; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee Humbert; and brothers, William, John and Jim Reed.

A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark with Pastor Gary LaRue officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
