Karen Sue Wilson, age 70, of Newark, passed away on March 7, 2025. Karen was born in Newark, on March 1, 1955, to the late Robert Norman and Evelyn Milicent (Staggers) Petrill.

She would love to be outdoors tending to her garden and bird watching. Karen enjoyed cooking, especially for Sunday dinners with her family. She would go yard selling, listen to music and travel. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family, friends and her pets.

Karen is survived by her loving husband, Bandy L.; children, Sandy (Douglas Dever) Davis, Brandon (Sara) Wilson; grandchildren, Mackenzie (Clinton) VanScoy, Skylar Wilson, Cassidy Wilson; great grandchild, Obi VanScoy; brother, Michael (Peggy) Petrill; brother-in-law, Steven Peck; in-laws; David (Judy) Wilson; nieces and nephew, Michelle, Amy, William, Meghan.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Joyce Peck; half brother, Thomas Petrill, and her in-laws, Frederick E (Jenny J.) Wilson.

There will be private services held at a later date. Burial will take place in Wilson Cemetery.
