Kathleen B. Litten, 83 of Newark passed away on October 11, 2025 at Newark Healthcare. She was born on May 21, 1942 in Newark, OH to the late Bill and Francis (Regan) Fitzpatrick.

Kathy was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. She worked many years for Walker Manufacturing before retiring from LICCO. She was past Union Steward and eventually longtime Production Supervisor. She loved genealogy.

She is survived by her sons, Jon (Paula) Rice, Ronald Rice and Rick (Kim) Rice; grandchildren Jon Paul (Brianne) Rice, Ronnie Rice and Alia Rice; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosann Boure and Colleen Richards; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Litten; son, Kevin Rice; and brothers, Michael Fitzpatrick and William "Billy" Fitzpatrick.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark with Deacon Patrick Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11-1pm prior to the service.
