Kathy Elaine Cramer, 64, of Hebron, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 20, 2025. She was born October 17, 1960, in Roanoke, Virginia, to the late Fred and Ordella (Johnson) Bailey.

Kathy had a joyful spirit and a love for the simple pleasures in life. She enjoyed working on puzzles, playing games on her phone, reading, dancing, and spending time with her beloved dogs. She absolutely loved Shopping—especially at Dollar Tree, This was one of her favorite pastimes, and she always found joy in the little treasures she discovered.

Above all, Kathy cherished her family. She was a proud and loving mother to her children, Steven (Carly) Melick, Dustin Melick, Summer (Jed) Melick, and Cierra (Bryant) Melick. Her grandchildren, Kaylie (Devin) Anderson, Natalie Avery, Iris Hanzey, and Remington Melick, brought her endless happiness. She is also survived by her sister, Tami Horn; niece, Suzy Turley; best friend and father to her children Steve Melick Sr.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Chester Dempsey, and brother-in-law, Mitchell Horn.

A celebration of Kathy's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the love she shared.
