Kelly Marlene (Cunningham) Hadlock, age 61, of Newark, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024, at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born in Roseburg, OR on September 30, 1962, to the late Forest L. and Ellen Jo. (Kirkendall) Cunningham.

Kelly was kind and loving. She was a third degree Black Belt, an accomplished artist and musician, with a passion for music that started when she was 4 years old and lasted till the day she passed away. She loved the outdoors, trains, planes, mountain scenery, and building her koi pond.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Doug Hadlock; children Jason Metz age 41, Justin (Vanessa) Metz age 39, Amanda (Joe) Sanchez, and Sabrina (Curtis) Thomson; brother, Mike (Kandy) Cunningham; life-long best friends, Dave (Tania Veronica) Thomas; 5 nieces and 2 nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Calvin Cunningham; daughter-in-law, Tabitha Charles.

Visitation will be held from 12-1pm Friday, February 16, 2024, followed by a 1pm funeral service at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st, St. Newark, Ohio 43055. A graveside service will take place immediately after the funeral service at Hanover Cemetery.
