Kenneth G. Linkous, 78 of Newark passed away on October 22, 2024 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 27, 1946 in Princeton, WV to the late William Gordon and Ruby Louise (Hare) Linkous.

Ken served honorably in the U.S. Navy. He retired from Owens Corning after 40 years. He was a member of Spring Hills Baptist Church. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and read his bible daily. He was an avid reader, enjoyed woodworking and was a master of cryptogram puzzles.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Kendra E. (Jacobs) Linkous; son, Kevin (Maria) Linkous; daughter, Kellie (J.D.) Hill; sister, Terry (Larry) Stickle; brother-in-law, Bill (Tina) Swank; sister-in-law, Sally Cunningham; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Janet Curry, Loretta Stephenson and Vickie Linkous.

The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark. Funeral service will be held at 10am on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Tevis Austin officiating. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
