Kirk Bradley Good

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Kirk Bradley Good, 69, of Newark, OH, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2026, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Dr. Michael A. Noble officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Kirk passed away unexpectedly on February 11, 2026, at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born April 5, 1956, in Newark, OH, to the late James "Stacy" and Gladys Marie (Weaver) Good.

Kirk was a retired underwriting specialist for State Farm Insurance, where he dedicated 40 years of faithful service to his profession. Outside of work, he had a deep love for golf and proudly organized an annual golf tournament for many years, bringing together friends and fellow enthusiasts for fellowship and friendly competition. He took great pride in his car and found joy in keeping it in pristine condition. A man who valued consistency, Kirk was devoted to his daily routines, finding comfort and purpose in the rhythm of each day. An avid reader, he read three newspapers daily and faithfully followed his favorite soap operas, The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, and Beyond the Gates.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Barbara Jean "B.J." (Hall) Good; brother, Eric Trent Good; and several cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Licking Memorial Hospital.
