Larry Lamar Hancock, age 85, of Heath, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024, at the Selma Markowitz Care Center. He was born in Dover, Florida on November 14, 1938, to the late John Winfield and Elizabeth (Gay) Hancock.

Larry enjoyed fishing, riding Harleys and grilling out with family.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Barbara (Stromsnes) Hancock; children, Michael A. (Mary Spires) Hancock and Tammy S. (Mike) Britton; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Hancock.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Flavel l., Wilford E., and Marvin Hancock, Eunice Wingate, Naomi Stephens, and Quida Bell Smith; brother-in-law, Herman Smith.

Visitation will be held from 4-6pm Tuesday, April 23, 2024, followed by a 6pm funeral service at Christian Apostolic Church, 22 N 23rd St, Newark, Ohio 43055, Pastor Shane Hancock officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Larry's memory may be made to the Christian Apostolic Church.
