Larry Neil McKee, 83, of Newark, peacefully completed his final ride on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at home with his loving family by his side. He was born November 3, 1942, in Marion, Ohio, to the late Hugh and Eunice (Hoadley) McKee.

A hardworking and independent man, Larry founded Larry’s Automotive in 1985, building a business that reflected his skill, determination, and strong work ethic. Outside of work, Larry found his greatest joy on the open road. He loved riding his Harley alongside his beloved wife, Linda, and together they made countless memories traveling across North America, embracing the freedom, adventure, and beauty of the journey. Whether behind the wheel in his shop or on two wheels with Linda, Larry lived life with a steady hand, a generous heart, and a love for the ride.

Above all, Larry was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather and great-grandfather. His family was the center of his world, and the love, guidance, and strength he shared with them will remain a lasting legacy.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Linda S. (Keaser) McKee; children, Kim (Jim) Cornelius, Eric (Anne) Scarberry, Terri (Jim) Meek, and Jeff (Tiffany) Wickham; daughter-in-law, Alberta McKee; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Scott McKee; grandson, Eric McKee Jr.; and brothers, Eddie and Jim McKee.

Memorial contributions may be made in Larry’s memory to Hospice of Central Ohio.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 26, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, where the funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Cory Campbell officiating.
