Larry W. Ogle, Sr.

A funeral service for Larry W. Ogle, Sr., 71, of Newark, OH, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at The Church of God at God's Acres, 675 N. Cedar St., Newark with Brother Roger Decker officiating. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2025, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Larry passed away April 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, at St. Ann's Hospital. He was born February 2, 1954, in Newark, OH, to Charlotte (Beesler) Ogle, and the late Nial W. Ogle.

Larry was a 1972 graduate of Heath High School. He retired after 36 years from Owens Corning, and he was a member of The Church of God at God's Acres. Larry was a devoted fan of Cleveland Browns, OSU Buckeyes, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Cleveland Indians, and he cherished family gatherings.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary (Six) Ogle; children, Wes Ogle, Gary (Cynthia) Ogle, Mistelle (Andy) Signor, and Greg Ogle; brother, Terry (Sue) Ogle; brother-in-law, Jim Carr; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Darlene Carr.
