A memorial service for Laura Ann Snyder, 64, of Newark, OH, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 20, 2025, at Brucker Kishler Funeral Home, with Pastor Corbin Huffman officiating. Family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark, OH.
Laura passed away on October 14, 2025, at her residence. She was born March 6, 1961, in Columbus OH, to the late John T. and Judith E. (Mustar) Snyder.
Laura was a 1979 graduate of Bishop Hartley High School. Her senior year she had the distinct honor of being the "Hartley Hawk" mascot. She worked for Cosby Heating and Cooling. She was a free spirit, hard worker, lived life to the fullest, loved time spent on the beach with her amazing friends, loved her daughter with all of her heart, and loved her family without abandonment.  She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Snyder; sisters, Lisa Snyder and Michelle (Eric) Barber; brother, Matt (Lynn) Snyder; nieces, Lauren Snyder and Maggie Snyder, and special friends, Steve and Lori Rotonda, Kyle Tom, Tina and Jeremy Tom, and Rodney and Kerri Madden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Nate Snyder.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Laura's memory, as per her wishes to "put your feet up, relax and thank the Lord for all your blessings."
