Laurianne Allen, 55 of Mt. Gilead passed away on April 28, 2024 at Riverside Hospital. She was born on June 7, 1968 in Newark to the late Earl M. and Doris M. Wagner.

Laurie was a member of AMVETS Post 87 Mt. Gilead. She enjoyed fishing, boating, riding motorcycles, vacationing and going to the beach.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Allen; daughter, Taylor Calendine; and granddaughter, Riley Rankin.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved friends, Dwayne Foster, Dana Logan, Christina Gayheart and John Armstrong.

The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St, Newark. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday at the funeral home with Wes Humble officiating. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens.
