Leila Marie Gill age 60, of Newark, OH passed away on May 27, 2025 at Licking Memorial Hospital. Leila was born on November 2, 1964 to the late Ralph Eugene Gill and Mary Jane Ann Allen (Sites) in Newark, OH.

Leila is survived by her children, Troy (Jesika) Howard, Amber (Jr) Neighbor, Christina (Mahama) Salifu, Raymond (Tosha) Howard, Tasha (Donald) Downhour, Amy (Mark) Stiles, Michelle Howard, Kayla (David) Randolph, Bryan Waites and Tina Powers; 18 grandchildren; and sister, Diana Lightle.

In addition to her parents, Leila is preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Gill; step-father, Gary E. Allen; step-brother, Gary L. Allen; aunts and uncles, Kenneth and Marlene Whightsel and Molly and Grady Blessard; uncle, Eugene Sites; cousin, Rebecca Davis; granddaughter, Summer Nicole Howard Welsh; grandson, Wyatt Michael Howard and Little Peanut.

Leila enjoyed playing pool, bingo, bowling, camping, playing cards and being nosey. She enjoyed watching her TV shows and spending time with her grandkids. She was known for having a good time and screaming at her grandkids. But most of all, spoiling her kids.

The family will receive friends from 2-4pm on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark. Funeral service will begin at 4pm.
