Leo Gabriel Foltz, 16, of Thornville, died Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born February 9, 2008 in Columbus to Matthew Aaron Foltz and Shadean Marie (Jones) Foltz.

Leo was such a happy boy whose smile was contagious. Everyone who knew him was touched by his presence. He was tough and took every adversity he faced head on.

He is survived by his mother, Shadean (Carl Shaw) Foltz; father, Matt (Evelyn Rase) Foltz; brother, Louie Foltz; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by brother, Ezekiel (Zek) Jones; sister, Lilian Foltz; paternal grandparents, Jackie and Duane Foltz; maternal grandfather, Doug Jones; and maternal grandmother, Marsha (Mitzi) Smith

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Leo to the funeral home.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 4-8 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, where the funeral service will be Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11:00 am with Pastor Cory Campbell officiating.
